Pretty in Pastels Activewear
Recently I was able to test out some of the latest activewear for Fleet Feet Sports. One major trend I always like seeing is all of the sherbert colored and pastel clothing for spring and summer. Since I spend most of my time in activewear and want to be nice and cool in Houston humidity I like the current lines they have available.
1. Top is by Northface. The open back allows for easy breezy coolness during runs at any time of day. I also liked that it was dri-fit and didn't get looser or heavier during the sweat sesh. Another good thing about the top was that it was a proper fit for a woman and had seams stitched to show the curve going in around the waist
2. Shorts by 2XU compression- In another post I tested out several of their tights. Like these especially because it was a lighter fabric for summer. It still had all the compression you need, but wasn't as tight at the hem--which is something i prefer. I don't like feeling like my circulation will be cut off while running.
3. UltraBoost X Adidas running shoes- when I first saw this shoe launch at the beginning of Spring I couldn't wait to try on a pair and go for a test run. THe shoes are so lightweight that I even forgot I had them on! The fit is sock-like to where it easily fits and your foot doesn't slip to the side or forward. For me< i really like lighter shoes, but that still have a firm around my ankles and have enough u around my arch and forefoot area. The colors are also very appropriate for women, spring, and summer activewear wardrobes.
All these pieces are available at Fleet Feet Sports in Houston locations. I hope you guys go check them and let them know you saw them through this blog post!
Now get out there and get those summer miles started!
